Serving our country

Posted by: Hello Kammok

There will be a large number of families remembering their loved ones who died serving in our US Armed Forces this upcoming Memorial Day.  Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you, your friends and your families.  While we are remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in serving our country, we thought we would take a minute to celebrate a few Kammok MOBsters who are currently serving and protecting the freedoms we enjoy:

Chaplain Colonel J.Craig Combs- US ARMY: A husband, a father of 4 boys and 1 girl, with a PHD in Family Education, 2 Tours in Iraq.  Craig is the definition of hero. Craig is always equipping and inspiring those around him to love, lead, serve and invest in others.  A true meaning of the word "MOBster" - Moving Others Beyond.  Thank you for your service Dr. Combs, we love you!

Intel E4- US ARMY -David Walker: David is the husband our incredible Kammok Sales Director Caroline.  They are both new to the Kammok family and we love them like our own.  David deploys in June for Afghanistan, our prayers will be with he and Caroline and their families as he leaves.  Thank you for your service David and welcome to the Kammok Family!

Captian- US MARINES- Justin Yarborough:
A husband and a great friend of Kammok and the extended Kammok family.  If there was a word to define Justin, it would be "servant".  There are few Justin Yarborough's on this planet, whether Justin is serving with his family, loving kids in Haiti or in the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Central Texas he is constantly loving and inspiring those around him where ever he goes.  Thank you Justin for your service!

Valerie Mascho‎:
While spending a year deployed to Baghdad Iraq, Valerie had the opportunity to volunteer with the local children teaching as an Iraqi boys and Girl Scout leader. Every Saturday was spent with them teaching community service, survival skills, knot tying, and also there was plenty of games and fun interaction along with arts and crafts! Valerie sent us this picture and said, "These girls made being away from home just a little bearable and missing my 2 year old son was a little easier to deal with". You INSPIRE us Valerie and we are so grateful for your service.

John Dorriety:
We received this picture from John Dorriety hanging in his Roo in a C-130 before being deployed to Afghanistan last year.  John be safe, our prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for your service!
