At just 2 lb 5 oz, the Kuhli XL provides ample ground-to-air coverage in the trail. The Kuhli XL comfortably shelters up to 12 people, a superior coverage-to-weight ratio, so expedition leaders can pack less and cover more ground.
Weatherproof protection
Constructed with our Patagium™ fabric, the Kuhli XL backpacking tarp is Sil/PU and DWR coated with seam seals for waterproof and leakproof protection against rain or snow.
Knotless set-up
Construct a shelter in seconds without tying a single knot. Line-locks and tensioners suspend the camping tarp above you, while 16 different guyout points with stakes and trekking poles secure it closer to the ground.

The Kuhli XL offers infinite pitch configurations to adapt to varied environments. All anchor points are reinforced with Hypalon™, providing ultimate protection from high winds and inclement weather. Use telescoping or trekking pole tips to create your canopy in tree-less terrain.

How many people and hammocks can I fit under the Kuhli XL?
Similar to hammocks, your set up dictates the number of people you can fit under the tarp. In the most traditional hammock set up, two hammocks can hang side-by-side. If you set up the tarp as a flat awning, up to 12 people can be seated comfortably.
