Our custom-built LunarWave™ diamond ripstop is the only fabric designed specifically for camping hammocks.

Stay cool when it’s warm and avoid condensation when it’s cold. It’s quick-drying, too.

Less Stretch

Diamond ripstop radically reduces stretch, making every hang consistently comfortable.

Super light yet super strong, the dense weave provides superior abrasion resistance.

Water & Fade Resistant

Treated with a water and fade resistant finish, our ripstop stays dry and vibrant.

Mountain climbing safety for those just 18 inches off the ground.

The Kanga Claw™ double-certified climbing strength carabiners are grossly over-engineered so you (and we) can sleep at night. The 23kN Kanga Claws are capable of supporting 5,000 lbs of force. The unique design focuses the load on the major axis of the carabiner, and the indented double wire gate carabiner side ensures suspension strap will not slip out.

The Racer Slings™ are constructed of Dyneema, a super-strong synthetic fiber that, weight-for-weight, is 15 times stronger than steel. This ultra-low-stretch material is dramatically stronger than the nautical rope commonly used on other camping hammocks.

Superior comfort features and better gear loops for faster clipping

The Roo features triple-stitched seams at all load bearing zones for high-performance durability. Our soft, hemmed Comfort Seams™ along the sides provide a more comfortable hang.

It also features eight highly durable gear loops: three multifunctional loops on either side plus two on the interior, for hanging water bottles, a Koala Underquilt™, or other gear.

An all-new stuff sack designed for the toss and turn of adventure.

Our integrated compression stuff sack is longer and wider for easier packing on-the-go, stronger for adventurers of all types, and features an extended roll top to carry your Python Straps™.

*Python Straps™ sold separately.

Care Instructions

Hand washing your Roo hammock is best for extending its useful life, but your Roo can also be cleaned in a washing machine (we recommend front-load machines, to avoid agitators and conserve water!). Hang to dry.

  • Remove the carabiners and slings prior to washing.
  • The Roo prefers to bathe alone, wash by itself.
  • Use the gentle/cold water setting.
  • If the Roo is soiled or stained use a small amount of detergent (preferably biodegradable).
  • Do not use fabric softener, bleach, or stain removal products.
  • Hang to dry - the Roo will dry quickly in most warm/dry environments.

When the Roo hammock gets dirty (and it will!), we recommend that you hand wash. You can use a damp cloth to wipe off the average dirt spots. If the Roo needs to be washed due to lingering 'trail odor' or stains, we recommend the following steps:

  • Dilute a small amount of biodegradable soap in a container of clean water.
  • Remove the carabiners and slings prior to the wash.
  • Soak the Roo in soapy water, ring out, and then rinse in cold clean water.
  • Do not use fabric softener, bleach, or stain removal products.
  • Hang to dry - the Roo will dry quickly in most warm/dry environments.
