Ready for every adventure, the Firebelly can be used as a minimal sleeping bag, as a hammock top quilt or crucial hammock underquilt to keep you warm down to 30°F. Create a cozy footbox with YKK button snaps and shock cord ends. Ditch the traditional sleeping bag and snap in the Firebelly to your pad using the included sleeping pad straps for a lighter weight top layer in the tent.
For the new version of the Firebelly, we increased size by 20% and gained only an ounce in weight. Measuring 54 inches wide by 88 inches long and weighing 24 oz, the Firebelly provides expansive warmth coverage without the bulk.
Atmos X™ fabric
We’ve upgraded the Firebelly’s fabric to our new Atmos X™ material - a stronger, lighter, and more abrasion-resistant 15D nylon ripstop. Atmos X has an unparalleled ability to retain body heat and is DWR-treated. The Firebelly will become your go-to for packable warmth.
The Firebelly is constructed using Insotect Flow™, a honeycomb structure of insulation gates that ensure even distribution of warmth, eliminate cold spots, and keep you toasty. With Insotect Flow, your insulation will stay in place trip after trip.
The Firebelly uses 750-fill DownTek - a responsibly-sourced down with a PFC-free water repellent treatment. DownTek absorbs 30% less water and dries 60% faster than untreated down, so it will retain more loft and keep you warmer after exposure to moisture.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can I use my Firebelly hammock camping?
The Firebelly can function as either a top or underquilt to insulate you while hammock camping in temperatures at or above 30ºF. For those who easily get cold at night, we recommend using an additional top quilt or sleeping bag when using the Firebelly as an underquilt. As a top quilt, the Firebelly has a nifty footbox feature that keeps your feet warm over your sleeping bag for added warmth.

How do I clean my Firebelly?
The performance of this fill (heat retention!) is directly tied to the "loftiness” of its down. To help your down products retain their loft, please follow our storage and cleaning instructions. Remember: Loft = warmth. Lofty gear = happy you.
Keep your Firebelly in tip-top shape by spot cleaning or hand washing when possible. If machine washing, use a front-load washer only and set to a warm, gentle cycle. Wash down product by itself with a cleaner specifically designed for down (NikWax® Down Wash). Do not use liquid detergent, and stay away from bleach. Rinse thoroughly, but do not wring. Air dry flat. Shake to restore loft or throw in a dryer on a "no heat" setting with a clean tennis ball. This product does not look good with a perm. Never dry clean.
How do I store my Firebelly?
Where your Firebelly sleeps when you're not using it affects its lifespan. Before storing after a camping trip, avoid gnarly smells and damaged fill by making sure your gear is completely dry. Then, store lightly stuffed in our cotton storage bag (included) or hang in a dry location. This keeps your down gear fluffy when stored for extended periods of time.
