The West

Upper Two Medicine Lake | Montana


Location: East Glacier Park, MT 59434
Known for: Glacier National Park
Important: Hammock camping is only allowed on campsites.



North Pines | California

Known for: Yosemite National Park



Wallowa Lake State Park | Oregon 


Location: Lake State Park, Joseph, OR 97846
Known for: Wallowa Lake is a beautiful glacial lake popular among anglers, hikers, swimmers, and boaters.



Priest Lake | Colorado 


Location: Priest Lake Campground, Priest Lake Road, Telluride, CO
Known for: Trout Lake is 5 minutes away.


The Southwest

Caddo Lake State Park | Texas

Buzzard Roost | Oklahoma


Location: Buzzard Roost Campground, Ardmore, OK
Known for: Lake Murray State Park



Aguirre Springs | New Mexico

Known for: White sands is 30 minutes away. Go for an adventure and come back to sleep with the mountains.


The Southeast

Cheaha State Park/Pinhoti Trail | Alabama

Known for: Alabama’s highest peak



Oak Mountain State Park | Alabama


Location: Oak Mountain State Park, 200 Terrace Dr, Pelham, AL 35124
Known for: Great for beginner hammock campers and your first overnight trip. In case things go sideways, the city of Birmingham is just minutes away.



Davidson River | North Carolina


Location: Davidson River Campground, Brevard, NC 28712
Known for: The Pisgah National Forest. This national forest has everything from 60ft waterfalls, to fishing, to mountain biking, and much more.
Important: Can’t hammock on the forest floor. Must hammock camp as close to the campsite as possible.



Cades Cove | Tennessee

Gulpha Gorge | Arkansas
